The Complete Practice: The Remix

I was initially inspired to create “The Complete Practice: The Program” due to enthusiastic responses to my original class on IDM called “The Complete Practice,” a combination of power yoga, yin yoga, and restorative yoga in a single class giving you the “complete” experience of the holistic approach that defines what I teach and what I practice.

My original intention behind the program was to give you a potent experience that touches all six of your human dimensions, impacting your body, energy, mind, heart, awareness, and soul daily. But, 75 minutes is a lot to ask of anyone day-in and day-out, especially in our modern world which feels busier by the year. With that in mind, we began to consider how we could make “The Complete Practice” more accessible while maintaining the original integrity of the program.

Through tremendous thoughtfulness, lots of time, and copious notes, we have created “The Complete Practice: The Re-mix”! This re-mix reduces the classes from an hour and fifteen minutes to only 45 digestible minutes while retaining the organic flow of power yoga, yin yoga, and restorative yoga giving you a comprehensive, holistic practice in less time.

This remixed program is like hearing an amazing new version of your favorite song – it has the same lyrics, same amazing rhythm, but with a whole new vibe that makes you want to leave it on repeat.

In the shortened version, you’ll experience a new musical track to each class. And, remember, on IDM you always have the option of practicing without music if that’s what you prefer.

I believe we can have our cake and eat it too. That’s what “The Complete Practice” has always been about – a belief that you are worthy, capable, and deserving of a strong practice that is sustainable, restorative, and rejuvenating all at the same time.

The older I get, the more I’ve come to realize that pushing it hard every single day is not the way. In fact, current science and research supports this view. This program brings you into the adequate heart rate zones to help you sustain cardiovascular health while utilizing body weight to strengthen not just your muscles but also your skeletal system while simultaneously providing the nervous system support to increase your resilience, improve your flexibility, and enhance your ability to navigate the inevitable challenges of life with greater connection and ease.
